We Have Lift Off

Welcome to Sale Harriers Manchester's new website. We've joined the pre- General Election campaign for 'Change'! Let's hope you'll now value this state-of-the-art club vehicle of communication that'll provide up-to-date news and information and continue to present the club in the best possible light. It's just part one - the 'information' phase, and when the 'networking' phase is launched in a few weeks, we hope every member will use its discussion and networking facility to also build club 'community' .

Special thanks to Kevin Mc Kay, our former 1500m Olympian, who facilitated the technical build and to his colleague Martyn Joyce who then built the format. This was completely advised and overseen by Fechin Mc Cormick following his initial research for the best (and simplest!) ideas from many of the other Premier Division Athletic websites.  More work than could ever be realised has gone into it over many weeks, and is the result of much heart-searching, experimenting and review so let's hope we've finally hit the mark! Simultaneous to this work, Fechin has updated all the copy from the former website and re-structured it to make it compatible for the new website. Finally, he's provided the articles and photographs to ensure this up-to-date launch. We'll be interested in your feedback.

We hope all athletes of every age and era, coaches and managers will now generate a continuous flow of news and information that'll keep this website -YOUR website, topical and interesting.....even riveting!

We're fortunate to have a formidable team of club members who'll now take responsibility for its management.
Brian Bradshaw & Chris Heys will have overall management responsibility. Brian has 20 years experience of working in IT and Chris is already well known as the manager of the former website. Anything related to club administration, records, policies and procedures and the Primary Section etc is to be sent to them. They will also oversee the next phase viz 'community' through social inter-action opportunities They will be assisted by...............
