ELSIE WILSON R.I.P

The club mourns the death of Elsie Wilson, husband of Harold Wilson- club founder, secretary for over 40 year and President who died in 1999.

  Elsie, with Harold, was very much part of the life of Sale Harriers for decades and will be affectionately remembered especially for her cakes and scones to support club social functions and for fund raising. After Harold died, she eventually moved from Sale to Milton Keynes to be close to her son where she continued to take an interest in Sale Harriers especially through the Harrier magazine.

Her death marks the end of the Wilson association with Sale Harriers that went back to the 1930's and 40's and who laid the foundation of the modern club. The club extends deepest condolences to her son Graham and his wife Linda. May she rest in Peace.
