Cross country season is nearly upon us so it's time to sharpen
those spikes and elbows in readiness. Jo Street is again organising
the entries for the U20, Senior and Vets ladies for all this
seasons races but the men are being split. Mike Wharton is
taking over from Dave Rodgers as the entries co-ordinator for Sale
Harriers U20 and Senior men for the Manchester Area Cross
Country League (MACCL) with Jerry Smith organising
the vets men for the Manchester Area Cross Country League
(MACCL). Dave Rodgers will still be in charge of the organising for
all the other men's cross country races and will of course contact
you about these as the season progresses.
So, if you want to run in the 2011/12 MACCL then contact Jo
Street (Jlstreet@hotmail.co.uk)
for U20, Senior and Vets ladies entries and either Mike Wharton (mjwharton@hotmail.com) or
Jerry Smith (jerrymsmith@hotmail.com)
for U20, senior and vets men. Please try to do this as soon as
possible as the MACCL is run on a shoestring by volunteers so it is
an enormous help to them if they get the entries sent to them
early. As for previous seasons it is free for you to enter and race
but the club is charged for entries so please consider whether you
will be able to run in at least one of the races. If you think you
can only run one race but are not sure you can still enter on the
day as opposed to pre-entering.
