Leeds Abbey Dash
A large contingent of club members headed over the Pennines to
take part in the very popular Leeds Abbey Dash 10k renowned for its
fast course and quality field. . It's an autumn club target and
many of those who made the journey achieved their targets of
pulling out superb PB performances. Well done to all of them.
Phil Tedd 31:35: Inaugural 10k & first race in 12 months for
our 1500m trackster
James Bailey 31:43: With a PB of 30.26 at Trafford 10k (March '12)
Mike Kilmartin 33:13: A PB of 5 sec. over the PB in the GMR 10k
Carl Barber 35:10: A tremendous PB by 60 seconds!
Steven Townley 36:25: With PB of 35.50 from Ribble Valley 10k
(Dec'11), hoped for more.
Andy Mooney 36:40: A 30 sec improvement on last year's PB in the
Paul Barrett 37:58: Clocked 37:15 last year.
Hayley Cavill 38:25: With 'luv' in her step, a superb 2 minute PB
Jan Nicholls 38:26: Another superb PB by 1 minute 47
Daniel Boulton 39:56: A massive PB by 2 minutes over August's
Alistair Kell 40:13: Forty seconds down on last year's time.
Jerry Smith 40:36: Only 33 seconds outside a PB
Timothy Rainey 40:44: Fastest for over 3 years!
Zoe Gmerek 41:28: A PB by over 1 minute and over 2 minutes faster
than last year!
Helen Armitage 41:58: Post-children PB!
Louise Robbins 44:08: Unlucky to suffer a stitch
Darren Goodson 44:04: The day's biggest improvement with a PB by
over 4 minutes!
Gemma Hardiman 46:17: Almost a 3 min PB over August's Birchwood
10k. Well done!
Lauren Davies 46:23: Yet another PB and a 90 sec. improvement on
April's Salford 10k
Belinda Hammond 46:29: Was about 30 seconds faster last
Jenny Clink 46:46: First 10k for over two years (I think!). Was it
Katherine Reece 50:43: Two minutes short of Trafford 10k time
Jenny Miles 53:57: A tremendous PB by 1 minute 30 seconds and 3rd
