INDOOR MEETING AT SPORTSCITY
The 5th Indoor promotion at Sportcity once again attracted athletes from far and wide. Matthew Ashley ( Notts AC) gave an awesome display of high jumping clearing a PB of 2m 05cm. Turnout was very high ( 339 competitors) considering that the National U15,17 and U20 championships were being held at Sheffield.
Jessica Taylor was in fine form, an 8.85sec 60m hurdle race, followed by a PB in the 60m flat of 7.70secs. She was well supported by Shaunna Thompson (7.79secs) and Zavia Hil (7.79secs). Carl Dickinson led the men sprinters with a 7.05sec clocking.
