Over the Bales

Unfortunately the March event has had to be postponed due to ongoing work at Crossford Bridge, watch this page for details of a re-aranged date, hopefully later in the year.

This great, fun event is put on to give our younger athletes a taste of the thrills and spills of cross country. Held at our Crossford Bridge facility in Sale the course will be on grass and over straw bales as the title suggests. Please come along and see your children fly.

Awards in each race:

• 1^st 3 individuals.
• 1^st 3 ‘A’ and 1st ‘B’ team
•  (3 to score for team awards)

The Referee’s decision is final!

• Race 1 – Under 9 girls – approx. 1200 metres
• Race 2 – Under 9 boys – approx. 1200 metres
• Race 3 – Under 11 girls – approx. 1600 metres
• Race 4 – Under 11 boys – approx. 1600 metres
• Race 5 – Under 13 girls – approx. 2000 metres
• Race 6 – Under 13 boys – approx. 2000 metres

Car parking is limited so please do not bring your car if you don’t have to. Park in the large carpark towards Chester Road. Please arrive early if you need to park in the car park and be courteous to other users of the car park. Car share if you can. Park as tightly as you can, do not park in the disabled spaces unless you have a blue badge.
