STOCKPORT ’10’ SHOWCASES HARRIER EXCELLENCE

The Stockport ’10’ has been an early December feature since 1989. A fine turn-out of 23 green-hooped vests – the largest by far for more than a decade, resulted in Sale Harriers winning a haul of prizes that included the men and women’s team prizes. The standout out performances that merit being immortalised in the Hall of Fame of the next Harrier magazine are:

NIGEL MARTIN (51.56). The venue of his 2019 & 2024 PB’s, this year it eluded him but he was an emphatic race winner, winning by 90 seconds from Tom Charles (Chorlton Runners). NICK BARRY won this race in 2021 in 52.08.

JOE GODWOOD (53.38) 3rd overall & improved his PB by almost 2 minutes on Stockport ’23
