Sale Harriers’ flagship young athlete Success Eduan, competing alongside sprint legends Dina Asher-Smith, Amy Hunt and Imani Lansiquot, capped her sensational summer on the world stage by helping GB & NI win European 4x100m gold.
She also reached the final of the 200m – on the same Alexander Stadium track where she set her 22.43 PB at the UK Championships in June, which also improved her own U20 club record.
Success is another of the club’s inspirational athletes in that she has to juggle training and high-level international competition with being a newly qualified midwife working hospital shifts. “Not many can do what I’m doing as a student midwife by day and an athlete by night,” she said.
Success is coached at Sportcity by a formidable team led by Anita Richardson.
