We competed in the final Upper YDL of the season at Carlisle on Sunday 12th July with only 10 athletes due to various event clashes. Although we had no field athletes, we still managed an impressive 4th place out of 8 teams and won the majority of our track events. Congratulations to Harrison Twigge and Victoria Okobi for winning both 100m and 200m, Conor McManus and Holly Nolan for winning 800m and Matty Cullen-Brown for winning 1500m. Everybody did at least 2 events and special mention to Madison Holt and Ruby Langford for doing 3 and to Ayaan Siddiqui, Christabel Remi-Salako and Charlotte Underwood for competing well in U20 relays as U18s.
Also, thanks to Frank Cordingley for being our field official and Andy Brown for helping.
If we have a full team next season, we should be unstoppable!
